" MV Discovery"  is a new 5 Star Adventure Cruise departing from Hervey Bay on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. With only 24 passengers, or "guests" as they prefer to call them, accommodation is in first class cabins with private facilities and all meals onboard!  Day 1: Depart Urangan Harbour at approx 2.30pm and sip champagne and canapes enroute to Platypus Bay on the isolated north coast of Fraser Island.

Day2: Tide permitting ,explore Wathumba Creek by Kayak or tender or enjoy snorkeling, fishing and swimming. Head south-west across Platypus Bay passing sand cliffs, ecological wetlands and some picture perfect beaches listed among the top 10 beaches in the world.

Day3: Enjoy breakfast while cruising to Kingfisher Bay Resort where a personal Ranger will take 'guests' on an all day 4WD Safari to explore some of the highlights of this unique World Heritage listed island. Travel along the Seventy Five Mile Beach Highway, pass the colourful cliffs of Rainbow Gorge and clear waters of famous Eli Creek. Enjoy a 20 minute scenic flight over Fraser Island's undulating rainforests and stunning sapphire lakes before landing at Eurong for lunch. Back on board by late afternoon.

Day 4: Return to Urangan Harbour passing the largest artificial reef in the southern hemisphere, the Roy Ruffus Reef, off Big Woody Island created in 1968 from car tyres, car bodies and old vessels to help boost local fish stocks.
