Palm Cove is only 26km north, and Port Douglas 60km; and for contract - rainforest of Cape Tribulation 150km north. Rooms are medium size, have TV with in house movies, mini bar, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Bathrooms have bath with overhead shower. Both are kept clean. Sunny's restaurant, opens for breakfast between 6:30am and 9:30am, on the ground floor serving international food. This hotel is located 100 metres from the Esplanade (one block from the waterfront) and approximately 10 minutes walk from the City Centre. Trinity Wharf is approx 15 - 20 minutes walk and only a few minutes by car. Furnished in a Tropical style, with tiled floor. Rooms are medium in size with basic furnishings in natural colours. Overall they are clean, comfortable and well kept. A pleasant, privately owned resort style property in a reasonable location. Balinese feel to the property. Reception closes at 11pm. The areas under renovation will be isolated from guest use areas and work will take place only between the hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm. There is no major structural work occurring and therefore should be no disruptions to guests using the hotel facilities.

Located at the foothills of the Rainforest covered hillside, 6km from Cairns City Centre and surrounded by lush, tropical gardens. Next door is a shopping centre with a typical Aussie Pub, as well as a Fitness Centre. A shuttle is available to Cairns City and the Airport. Large rooms, featuring both ceiling fans, air conditioning and a balcony, as well as all other modern facilities in a room. Good value for money, quiet location. Although not central - a suitable base to discover the region's natural wonders of reef, rainforest and outback.3 storey Mediterranean building.
